That natural wonder is difficult to explore fully on foot. The scenic drives of Northeastern Utah allow the traveler a beautiful overview of large stretches of both desert and forest.

The history of Northeastern Utah stretches for millennia. The ancient cultures of the area have left their mark, in petroglyphs left in dramatic canyons.

Northeastern Utah's western heritage reflects its more recent past. Historic ranches and cabins and other buildings have been well-preserved so that visitors can get a sense of the Utah that was, and in many ways still is.
